Meetings and Membership
There are 6 general meetings a year - March, May, July, August (Club Picnic), November and December (Christmas Party). Meetings are held from 7-9pm at the training facility on the third Monday of the month. The Board of Directors meets the 1st Monday of every month. Membership is open to all individuals 18 years of age or older. Junior membership is available for those under 18 years of age with the written consent of a parent or guardian. There are also family and supporting memberships available.
Requirements for membership are as follows:
1. Complete 16 weeks in the training program
2. Fill out application, endorsed by 2 members in good standing
3. Attend 2 business meetings out of the next 3 after approval of the
application by the Board of Directors.
4. Approved by ¾ of the members present at the second meeting
Earn a minimum of 20 work credits in the previous year (individual) or 30 work credits (family)
Because we are a small, all volunteer club, we depend on member support for all activities. We request that all members support club activities by attending meetings, serving on committees, and volunteering to help out at trials. We also need members to participate in and/or assist with the training program.
